GroupDocs.Viewer for .NET | HTML5 Document Viewer 1.0.0 HTML5 document viewer (.NET version) for displaying over 45 types of documents and images

This module integrates the .NET version of the GroupDocs HTML5 document viewer into your Orchard website. Once deployed, you will be able to seamlessly embed and display over 45 types of documents and images on any page within your website. The viewer supports PDF and Microsoft Word documents, PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets, OpenDocument formats, Visio diagrams, CAD and raster images.

FEATURES:

  • GroupDocs.Viewer can both rasterize documents and convert them to a combination of HTML, CSS and SVG, based on HTML5 technology. The last option enables native text rendering, allowing users to select and copy text to the clipboard right from documents embedded to a web-page. This also ensures high-fidelity text rendering, so that fonts look sharp.
  • Documents embedded to a web-page with GroupDocs.Viewer can be viewed from any HTML5-complient web-browser. There is no need for your website visitors to install any browser plugins.
  • GroupDocs.Viewer has a convenient UI, which allows your website visitors to seamlessly read large documents right on a web-page. Users can scroll through document or turn pages like slides, preview pages with thumbnails and jump straight to a specified page, search for text within a document using keywords, print and download the original document, etc.
  • Finally, unlike the cloud-based module which we've released, this module integrates the downloadable .NET version of the GroupDocs.Viewer, which can be deployed on your own servers. This allows you to store and host documents locally and ensures complete control over content security.

NOTE: Please be aware that this module requires the GroupDocs.Viewer for .NET library to be installed on your server. The library is not free, however we provide an evaluation copy, so that you can test it before committing.
